Marian's Famous Carrot Cake

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 t. baking soda
2 t. cinnamon
1 t. salt
1 1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
3 cups shredded carrots
1 cups chopped walnuts

Sift dry ingredients together. Add oil & eggs. Stir in carrots & nuts.

Bake 40-45 minutes at 350 degrees in a 9 x 13 pan.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 t. vanilla
1/4 cup softened butter

Makes large batch.
